The Magic of An Púca:
At Oíche Shamhna (Irish for Halloween), when the boundary between our world and the Otherworld blurs, the Púca emerges from the shadows. According to legend, this mischievous creature pays a peculiar visit to blackberry bushes. What does it do there, you ask? Brace yourself… it either spits on or even urinates on the berries!
My interpretation of the Púca captures the aftermath of its visit, but if you don’t know what you’re looking at it, you would be forgiven for thinking it was a beautiful maybe even elegant piece of art. With intricate line art that subtly hints at the Púca's presence, my drawing can add a touch of mystery to your digital devices.
