Embrace the timeless charm of Irish folklore!

Discover the wonder of Irish myths and legends with my collection of Stories from Irish Folklore. Each print tells a tale from Irish mythology, and depicts one of my illustrations. Here are the first three in this series, more to follow…

1. "The Salmon of Knowledge"

Place this well known story from Irish mythology somewhere that catches your eye anytime you want to reignite your connection to this ancient tale.

2. "The Children of Lir"

Growing up in Ireland, I couldn't help but think about the story of "The Children of Lir" when I saw swans flying. I would wonder if maybe, just maybe, one of those swans was one of the transformed siblings from the tale. Even as I grew older the story never left me. It's amazing how these childhood memories stick with us, isn't it?

3. "How the Wren Became 'The King of Birds'"

Here is a whimsical story that tells how the clever wren managed to outsmart bigger birds and claim the coveted title for itself. This delightful tale will bring a smile to your face.

Discover more:

  • Storytelling: My prints offer condensed versions of these captivating Irish folklore tales, allowing you to get lost in their world any time you want.

  • Have you noticed?: I have a unique line art style that I incorporate into most of my pieces. My line art often represents magical or mysterious aspects of whatever I have created. The backgrounds of these prints feature a close-up of the line art from each individual drawing.

  • Perfect for any space: The A4 format is ideal for popping into a frame and displaying these prints in various settings, whether it's your home, office, or a thoughtful gift for lovers of Irish folklore.

  • Paper: printed on high quality thick 350gsm white uncoated paper making the final print vibrant and the colours pop!

Please note:

  • The colours of the prints may appear slightly different in person compared to what you see on your screen due to several factors, such as the differences in screen calibration, lighting conditions, and individual display settings. I have done my best to make these photos as accurate a representation as possible.
