This ancient Irish festival was celebrated at the beginning of summer. Bealtaine actually translates to "May" in Irish and is pronounced "BEOWL-tin-eh". It was an intriguing and mystical celebration that dated back to ancient times.
I decided to create this drawing of the Bealtaine fire, putting my own spin on it, to capture the essence of this ancient symbol in a modern and artistic way.
